Carissa Santöso was born in Indonesia in 1986. Besides her native country, she also lived in Australia, where she studied, and in Spain, and more recently in Portugal, where she joined the artistic project of the Vista Alegre IDPool. With a degree in Industrial and Product Design and a Master’s from the European Design Lab, she worked for Studio 42, an interior design company and, as a freelancer, she collaborated with the Haynon, Sigga Heimis, Doshi Levien and Pedrita studios, among others. Santöso prepares by hand the materials for all her works, paying meticulous attention to detail.
