Once Upon a Time… is born from a partnership between Vista Alegre and Boca do Lobo. Boca do Lobo's cabinet Pixel - named by AD Choice as one of the 500 best pieces of furniture in the world - was the starting point of this new chapter in the history of Vista Alegre. This piece, limited edition only eight copies, is composed by 1090 small triangles of hand painted porcelain, and an exclusive bar service, also limited to eight copies, produced in crystal of superior quality and with platinum elements. The pieces are fully blown, cut, engraved and painted by hand. The cabinet’s decoration, signed by VA Studio, features a peony garden and two Chinese Phoenix. These motifs were inspired by the Talhas Portugal, exhibited at the Vista Alegre Museum in Ílhavo. These are two large pieces, executed in 1940 by the immortal Master of Painting of Vista Alegre, Palmiro Peixe.
