Susanne Jansen

Susanne Janssen was born in Aachen, Germany, in 1965, and studied graphic design at the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf, becoming a professional in book illustration. Janssen was a student of the illustrator and writer Wolf Erlbruch, and developed a style that evokes the infant universe through an adult stroke, being therefore very versatile. She has won many distinctions for her work, including the Ilustrarte Grand Prize in 2007. She currently lives and works in Frankreich, Alsace, Germany.
