Margarida Antunes was born and grew up in Lisbon. From 1987 to 1997 she lived, travelled and studied art in the USA, while working on multi-artistic projects with international artists in North America, Portugal and Africa. Upon her return to Portugal, she decided to show her artistic essence in the areas of architecture and engineering, through the creation and construction of models. She worked as a designer at Vista Alegre, and, it was along this “pro-creative” path that she met and began her collaboration with Fernando Lopes, a model maker with 30 years of experience.
